The black slivers are largely passed over as big and slow and useless... and they are, but means they're cheap and full of fun potential! Got a few useless plague slivers that need to exercise their hateraide on the new m14 lot? good! team him up with a syphon sliver and nothing happens! But atleast now you have a 5/5 lifelink for 4. Add Sanguine bond and how instead of nothing happening the opponent just starts losing life. Then Exsanguinate doubles your fun! You take some life from the guy, you gain some life, and then they lose more life! Hate slivers so much that you may just kill your own? NO PROBLEM! kill them off to summon a demon of terrible power! Leaving a hivestone out and a syphon just adds to the hilarity as your demon’s lifelink kills the other guy even if he blocks now!
The Basics are: Plague sliver deals damage to you. Syphon Sliver heals said damage. Sanguine bond then kills the other guy. Bonuses: Summoning Demonic Sliver Demons with flying, trample, and lifelink. Tapping unused slivers to regenerate the Sliver Demon. Basal slivers and dark rituals for quick mana should the need arise. Exsanguinate with that sanguine bond! For nomnomnom blood. Royal Assassins are just there as boogymen.Sanguine Bond and Syphon Sliver are the 'go to' players for this deck. With the only beefcake being the Demon of Death's Gate (DDG) you really have to watch out for combo. There's isn't really much protection for it as most of it relies on being untouched for a while. But diabolic tutors help fill some gaps as you play out your fodder slivers and combo cards. Royal assassins can help keep some critters at bay but they're essentially spell soaks.A nice first hand would have 2 dark rituals in it. A turn 1 syphon into a turn 2 plague and then launching your assaults with your nice n' shiny 5/5 lifelink.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
