This is pretty much a merfolk/ wintor orb deck i built i while back. You can surf you deck via sandbar merfolk, use twiddle and boomerang to control winter orb, force of will to counter w/o tapping land and nothing is quite as shameful as having to admit you got beat down by merfolk. You can side bar things like Unstable mutation/ phantismal terrian/ Illusionary terrian/and blue elemental blast to handle small creature decks like a goblin deck. However, you should pretty much own and large creature deck. You can even sub in some sea singer instead of the pearl tridents to handle a big creature deck if its a really fast one.

lol. Nice. Yet another way to play Merfolk. I have three different fish decks myself and they all are winners. Lorwyn really made 'em shine.
