Deck Description

Where's daddy's Angel?
Oh. There she is. And she's ticked.

This deck looks to keep Archangel Avacyn flipping back and forth and Anger of the Gods-ing the opponent dead. Nahiri helps out by both finding our angel and keeping the opponent's threats in the ground where they belong until you do.

Side note, I really like Drownyard Temple. A discard outlet and three mana lets you put two lands on the field in one turn. That puts you a turn ahead of the curve.

Suggestions are always welcome.

How to Play

I'd call it a flavor fail that Nahiri can't actually trigger Avacyn's transformation, seeing as she seems to be the one causing it. However, she can clear the way for the angel and drop her onto the field from wherever in the deck she's hanging out. She also digs you deeper into the deck to find her yourself while also providing a Madness outlet for Tormenting Voice or Avacyn's Judgement, or fills your graveyard to give Topplegeist Delirium.

Once Avacyn is on the field, a combat trade or Angelic Purge can transform her, while Gideon's Phalanx and Make a Stand keep the rest of your creatures out of Avacyn's way. Angelic Purge even gets around Indestructible- both on your sacrifice and the target- and can be used to trigger Avacyn the same turn she hits the field. If Nahiri summoned her she goes back to your hand at end of turn, and can be cast next turn to nuke the board again. Otherwise, Eldrazi Displacer can reset her, or Ancestral Statue can bounce her.

When you're ready to end the game, a 4/4 or 6/5 overhead may be enough, or Nahiri can toss Avacyn's Judgement for Madness to blast them in the face.
