Deck Description

This is the first draft of my Blood Bond deck.
Side board will improve in the near future.

How to Play

The basic premise is to ramp into exquisite blood/ sanguine bond and win via a doom blade or other kill spell. Mutilate is my favorite.

Deck discussion for Blood Bond

1st improvement on the sideboard, heartless summoning is worthless in here. It kills blood artist before he can be any good.

In THAT case, it has to come out. Blood artist is the focus of the deck! A replacement may be Rise of the Dark Realms. Late game, you killed everything, Crypt Ghast, play it for 5, get every creature. Then either play mutilate for 2 and kill everything, making Blood Artist j122 all over the opponent OR just swing on the next turn.

first off, cool deck. i like this strategy more than the w/b decks that try to and utilize vizkopa guildmage, i think the higher dedication, blood artist, and mutilate help the strategy. however, if i were you i would want a contingency plan. Plus you have all this mana and you don't do anything with it except ramp out slightly expensive enchants. i think you could do more... i was looking at black spells with really high cmcs so you could put a couple of copies in. you probably don't need it, but it would just be extra threat density to the deck. i looked at griselbrand, but actually i was thinking of ramping into army of the damned. There really isn't a way to get around those thirteen tokens except to board wipe, and if you have blood artist that translates to an instant win anyways. So my recommendation is to take out one swamp and one tutor for 2 army of the damned. If you like it the way it is and can't stand to change it, you can at least put them in the sideboard so you always have access to a slightly different strategy. Nice idea though! monoblack represent

i thought about that and agree that is a nice sideboard card to flesh out the deck.
