I would suggesst that you have this splashed with green so that you can have mana accelleration, or with myrs, for the same reason. That way you can get your panoptic mirror out as quickly as you can. perhaps use a tutor to get you the time warp. or, if you don't wntto splash green, you could go with blck, for the diabolic, or increasing ambition. other than that... um...counter cards, and removal stuff, so that you can get set up for your inf. turns.

The imprinted time warp. Gives you unlimited turns.

Thanks lol. I just dont know what cards to use. i really just wanted to get this combo out into the public, since not many people seem to know about it.

I am not entirely sure, but I have heard that time warp is an illegal card. But, I could be wrong about that.

not in casual play, and it doesnt need to be time warp. any extra turn card will do with the combo as long as it is a sorcery. if its an instant then use isochron scepter.

Time WARP, not Walk is the card that's restricted in Vintage.

Its not a deck yet, it just has the idea. As i said it is a work in progress. *facepalm

No time warp is not illegal by any means. Time Walk is. But you need LOTS of card drawing. that's the way to get the stuff you need quickly. you need to set up an early defense, a tough wall, and then draw cards. divination, brainstorm, ponder, preordain, whatever! all of them help get you to what you need. then, counter spells to protect your artifact. looks good!

Thats what im thinking. Looking for a win condition too. And i like your decks, just saying. :P

0

since you have black here you could add a few tutors to help with card advantage as well, to get the cards that you need sooner, in ddition to, or rather than the drawing. either way is good. :)

threw in black, thinking maybe add a tezzeret, adding some tutors too.

got it in there. All the cards in the sideboard are cards that could go in the deck.

I prefer the Voltaic Key + Time Vault combo. It's much quicker and easier to pull off.

Demonic Tutor and Vampyric Tutor are both illegal cards, obvoisly this guy doesn't care about legality.

0

Its in casual, but still like this combo better. Easier to get the cards, and they are newer. And what the heck is vampyric tutor?

Hey just looked these up for you....
For "Savor the moment" Check one of these cards out,
Riptide Chronologist
Breaking Wave
Turnabout
They also help with the control portion.

Oh and these help If you don't enough of one color mana....
Drowned Catacomb

I am gonna add in the drowned when i finish. And thanks, they look pretty good, ive seen a couple bettter, but these are near the top of the good list. But i dont think im gonna use the savor, probably just going to stick with the other time cards. Unlimited no untap doesnt really work all that well...

hey, Ravenwolfheart, can you look at this and see if I am missing something on it?
It isn't my deck, but the builder is either nutso, or goofing around just to annoy people (mainly me), or both.

I dont see it. The guy sounds kind of insane anyways. I didnt really take a good look at the deck, just read the comments and he annoyed me just by talking. So, if he really has that great of a deck, well see him in tournaments. otherwise, hes a nutjob.

if you have unlimited turns, just add laboratory maniac and take turns til you draw out and win

You, sir, are very intelligent. Yes, i need an island in this deck. I will get right on it. -sarcasm- YOUR AN IDIOT!!! READ THE WORK IN PROGRESS!!!! Im just looking for fillers right now, what to do with the unlimited turns. Then ill fine tune and finish the deck with lands. Thank you for your input, please do not give any more untill you come up with something worthwhile to say. Have a good night.

0

OK sorry about that. I suggest you remove Arcane Melee as that boosts your opponents' instants as well. Most of the sideboard could probably fit in the deck except Blighted Agent. You do need something to use to win with your unlimited turns. Emrakul or some other Eldrazi should suffice. Also, maybe there should be a bit of control for when Naturalize and Ancient Grudge are boarded in because those are instant-speed threats that ruin your deck. I like the idea of this deck though :)

Got em in there. Like i said, cards in sideboard are cards im thinking about putting in. Thanks though :P any other suggestions?

0
Posted 27 April 2012 at 04:35

yeah, you need a win condition. Infinite turns is a beautiful thing, but the only way you have to win is to swing in with the chronologist with your infinite turns until they die. Laboratory maniac would work, but it would take FOREVER to finish, making the game really boring for both you and your opponents, which defeats the purpose of playing. I would look for better ways to win, but gatherer is down as i am writing this, so all i got off the top of my head is getting a Goblin fireslinger to hit 20 times. Still really slow, but will get you a win and its quicker than 60 upkeeps (give or take) for the maniac.

0
Posted 26 April 2012 at 23:36

Attacking with infect would be faster then that. Attacking with anything bigger then a 1/1 would be faster then that... And aint gonna use lab maniac, just seems kind of lame... "Oh, i have unlimited turns. Now i sit here and dont do anything with them. Woohoo!" -several minuites later- "Yay i win the game for sitting on my ass. Im so cool."....... Hmmm... no.

0
Posted 27 April 2012 at 04:25

Haha I didn't say it would be a fast win or fun for the opponent, just pretty much a guaranteed win once you get that combo, but theres alot of ways to go with a deck that has all the turns you need, hell darksteel reactor (with any of the proliferate artifacts to speed up the win so your not sitting too long) , any unblockable creatures (like that unblockable creature blighted agent). And any planeswalker would work really well since you'd be able to hit all of their finally abilities without the opponent being able to do anything. Just suggestions tho

0
Posted 27 April 2012 at 06:07

I was thinking about darksteel reactor, and same with blighted agent. Which planeswalker would be best? i was thinking jace

0
Posted 28 April 2012 at 05:23

jace would prolly work the best for taking out an opponent, the other planeswalkers for black and blue dont really have a winning move that would go well with your deck, lilliana is graveyard stuff and sacking things, tezzeret is all about having lots of artifacts, and sorins turn taking ability doesnt really do anything for this deck haha

0
Posted 28 April 2012 at 16:58

which jace? And i would use sorins second ability, or first. makes the game run shorter if they have ten life left, and then just drain them for five turns. Tezz i would use to get my mirror out

0
Posted 28 April 2012 at 23:01

thats true with tezz to get your combo going, and obviously (naturally if you had the money to get one or just happen to have one) i would say jace the mind sculptor, but i would say otherwise jace memory adept so you can hit multiple players all at once with the final ability after you milled them plenty with his other abilities

My question is... what are you going to do when they destroy your single creature? You'll need cards that retrieve from the graveyard.

Um... You did see in the description that this deck isn't finished, right? That it is a work in progress?

0

You could splash white to use silence and orim's chant to keep them off of yourself for a while. You can also use the scepter to throw either of those on a stick and use it repeatedly until you pull out your combo. You need a bit more construction in order for us to see a bit more of where you are trying to go with this...

Ill let you in on a secret you are doing it right which is hard to believe knowing almost everyone i comment on is doing it wrong but i do have one piece of advice how about another Unlimited tern combo for the win would that be nice? of course it would so Time Sieve + Thopter Assembly = well you get the point
you mite wanna run some transmute to get the cards you need BTW i use it allot and it really helps.

btw your way of talking irritates me btw of course it does. GAH. Talk normal. And im thinking about adding the thopter, but idk yet.

I'd consider High Tide as a blue-ramp option.
Unless you just pop in a whole lot of Myr's to ramp up, or splash green for ramp cards.

Apart from this card, there is another card just released in Avacyn (a miracle card) that gicves you another turn also. That might be worth checking out.

Could you help me with my deck?
