Deck Description

So this deck is a Standard Aggro deck. Stomp your opponents down as fast as you can. You won't survive long after turn 6-7. ;)

Comments are appreciated!

How to Play

This deck consists out of almost only 1-2 drops. The hellriders are the exception to this (Rampagers are used to get damage through of course).
Therefore you almost always will have the most creatures on the battle field. Use this to your advantage.
Keep in mind that you do have a good chance to pick that hellrider. This card wins games for you. So don't be to eager on trading off creatures with your opponent when you have one of these badboys in your hand.

Reckoners. Youre missing them.

Trample, Azorious Charm, Unsummon, Abrupt Decay, Dreadbore. There's several ways around Reckoner. As I said, not that great. It's a decnt card don't get me wrong, but that's about it.

All the cards you named just about gets rid of every creature that doesn't have hexproof, or doesn't have a converted mana cost of 3 or less...

Yeah, I'm sure there's no reason they're played in every single even slightly agro deck in any serious tournament...

With that logic, AEtherling isn't that good either. Yea you can blink him but he still has the possibility of getting hit with shit.

Yep Reckoner is bad. A 2-1 creature for three mana is terrible. *facepalm*

Yeah. I've been thinking about the Reckoners. I might put them in, but then I need to add a bit more mana I guess. Which cards should I remove? Firefist Strikers and Legion Loyalists?

I've been playing against those Reckoners many times. Most of the times I didnt find them that hard to beat though. Maybe that's why i decided not to use 'm.

No creature is "hard to beat". The reason I like Reckoner is cause if your opponent doesn't have an answer for him, either in the deck or in their hand, he's going to make your opponent not want to attack with big creatures or block him with big creatures.

My jund deck put every aggro deck I played to shame because they relied on reckoner. Reckoners werent a threat. As for the removal suggestions; no dip they get rid of almost every creature. Thats why I named them off. Theres so many ways to get rid of reckoner safely. Hes pointless in an aggro deck.

So then every creature is pointless in an aggro deck.

Edit: Looking at majority of the aggro decks that place first, they all have 2-4 Boros Reckoners. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like your logic is: Boros Reckoner dies to removal so he sucks. By that logic...every creature that doesn't have hexproof sucks. Which...is far from the truth. If you don't believe me go check on the decks placing first and see for yourself. Also you wouldn't run Boros Reckoner in a Jund deck. He doesn't exactly fit into it. At least I wouldn't anyways.

Well what I meant with 'Hard to beat' was that they didn't win the game for my opponents. They could only use it as a defense force. Which isn't too good against a deck that always has more creatures then you have. Maybe i'd rather use 3 mana for a lightning mauler and a cackler. Or have the option to burn one of their creatures before I attack. There's even been games the Reckoner didn't even get the chance to block due the Firefist Striker.

But as I said. I'll give it a try with 2 (since I only got two atm).

Go for it. I just wouldn't use Boros Reckoner in a Jund deck. There are better options for Jund.

Jund is probably the single worst match up for agro, what's your point?
