Edit 11/12/2017I completely revamped the deck. Instead of land ramp and assorted creatures with various mana costs, I decided to play around forests with Dungrove Elder, Natural Affinity and Jolrael, and creature number/devotion.The synergy of Primalcrux and Khalni Hydra is scary. So land ramp became elvish ramp to fuel both Crux/Hydra (one for reduced mana cost, the other for chroma). I also added a few istants/sorceries to be ready for bad surprises just in case.

Wow, I love that you had Blastoderm and Mtenda lion there. I'm thinking of adding some enchantments like Rancor or Beastmaster Ascension. Nimble Mongoose and Werebear could also do good in this deck. Two thumbs up for bringing back memories ^^,

Ahah, "Back in my days we built aggro decks with Mtenda Lions and Ghazban Ogres!!" God I'm so old. But anyways... :P Those are really great suggestions. Threshold is easy to get because of all the ramp cards I end to play, and they make quite a nice ramp. I'm gonna edit it quite a bit, so check it out and let me know what you think! Thanks for all the advices on the essence decks!
Oh the good ol' days. It really looked a lot fun now. Using those old creatures really make this deck a lot more special! Really loved it ^^,
