IMO my friend has the scariest ally mill deck that's Blue/Green. Harabaz druid + Crab umbra with more than 3 allies on the field = infinite mana. Throw that infinite mana into a genesis wave for GG.

2 things.

1: Yes, Cleric over Freeblade INFINITELY. Mill decks seem to lack defense, so why not make up for it in life gain?

2: Genesis Wave doesn't mill people. It's a self-targeting sorcery. Your friend could play anything in his deck, granted, but anything he didn't play would go to the graveyard immediately. So if he's milling you with Genesis Wave, then I dub him a cheater ^_^ with sword taps on the shoulder and everything.

Things is is that you just need to continue to tap for more mana than you need to play whatever spells you need as well as an elixir of immortality and just shuffle everything back in your deck, less of course they had a Leyline of the Void then you should have enough allies to pull it off. The only thing i could see to stop this is by playing memoricide to take out the halimar excavator.

Check out my version of this concept at mtgdeckbuilder.com and search under my tag. Deck's name is UG Ally Mill.
