Deck Description

My upgraded Pillowfort deck!

My old one ran Host of Herons as a general and worked well. But I was missing all the comfy pillowfortness that blue has to offer!

And Angus Mackenzie is kinda exactly what you want as a anti agressive commander

How to Play

Basically you want to survive until its 1v1

In order to do this, this deck as answers to most problems. key cards being peacekeeper, blazing achron, witchbane orb, story circle, forcefield, elderscale wurm and platinum angel. these cards will keep you alive. Let you opponents kill each other.

The next step is to deter people from attacking you, this is done through enchantments. cards like Norn's annex, sphere of safety, ghostly prision, and dissapation field will do this.

The next step in protecting your board state. privileged position, sterling grove, avacyn, indestructibility, and ascetiscism will do this. It is very important to protect enchantments as they are part of a win con.

How to actually win. Once you are 1v1 you can either lock them down to the point in which they just give up (not very fun but the shows the effectiveness of the deck). Or use some win conditions like Reins of power, Azor's Elocutors (not in deck yet), or the enchanted evening + oplaescence works well with the amount of enchantments you will have in play, works even better with aura thief.

Deck discussion for Pillowfort 2.0

Aurification is a rather great pillowfort card.

Glad to see Fight or Flight in here as it's often overlooked.
