Deck Description

Super wizard fun time

This deck will prevent your opponent from casting any spells, with Circu or from using Patron wizard to counter everything. There is some added removal for faster decks and the Cephalid Constables help bounce everything back.

Added in a stasis to really stop your opponent from doing anything, especially with the vedalken mastermind to make sure you don't stasis lock yourself.

Have you seen Divining Wand?

yes I have seen Diviner's wand, and it didn't work too well in this deck

Some wizards I'm particularly fond of are Disruptive Pitmage and Nameless One. You can make the nameless one massive and make it unblockable.

Mark of Eviction is also pretty gross for crowd control. It's helpful if you can't counter a nasty creature.

In place of Æther Vial you could run Isochron scepters with a cheap counter spell of some kind or a destroy creature card like Doom blade or Go for the throat.

In place of swamps and deltas, you could run vivid creek/marsh. Just a preference, it seems more efficent to me.

disruptive pitmage becomes unnecessary because patron wizard causes every wizard to have the same effect. I'm probably going to switch out for isochron, just in case. And I don't really like vivid creek/marshes because they come into play tapped. Thanks for the ideas though!

Yeah, the vivid lands can definitely slow you down over time. =p
