Deck Description

Hey, here's my idea of an hydra deck. I haven't looked at others so don't know if there's any better cards to add. But it's all about gaining mana, and trying to add counters here there and everywhere :-) if it works in your favour you'll have big creatures which keep growing

How to Play

Well I like the fact that if you do manage to have the primordial hydra and protean hydra out, ramp up their counters using bioshift on protean hydra and move X amount of counters to primordial hydra. Protean hydra gains double those counters at the end step, and on your upkeep primordial hydra gains double those counters. Next thing you know you have uber big creatures which should pile a load of pressure into your opponent :-D you have others sources to gain counters to, which relatively is at a cheap cast cost

Deck discussion for Can we still be friends?

um forced adaptation and drop primal cocoon? if you dropped omnath and oran reif for sheltering words and naturalize it would be a fun standard deck

:-D cool idea! I'll make that edit when I make the deck, that would make a fun standard deck. Do you think I should try squeeze in akroma's memorial?

im not sure about akromas memorial; just from the mana ramp im sure it wouldnt be too hard to get out there, the only problem is wolfir's, primordials, and omnath are really the only creatures it would benefit for a game win. actually with wolfir's soulbond im sure it would work if you get the combo out quick enough. really only one way to know for absolute certainty, and that's to buy and try!
