Hello Vault-Community!Im currently trying to build a semi-budget deck for a friend of mine who recently started to play MTG.That friend told me he wanted a tribal-ish deck so I told him about Merfolk, as it was a comparativly cheap and comeparativly efficient deck! But decided to go more into blue devotion and leave out Aethers Vial for it is too expensive.I can lend him my copies of Akromas Memorial and Vedalken Shakels so we are currently at a 150€/$ There are a lot of Threats on the Web about this kind of deck, but I'm not completly sure about a few things so please let me know your oppinion about;- wheter it's a good starters deck - provides an easy gameplan but also fun and variation?- If you have any advise on the card choices?- If you have Ideas for Removal/Interaction (seems like it lacks there)- If we could make it cheaper without loosing too much efficiency - too many bidents?- is Stormtide Leviathan viable?- is there a better One-drop choice? Aside from Cursecatcher?I am very grateful too hear from you guys =DPS: An elder version of this deck used [Merfolk Sovereign] and [Merrow Jeerey] instead of [Adaptive Automation] and [Grand Architect]. The elder version was a little cheaper but a lot less fun (i think).
