Deck Description

The concept is simple: Make a mill deck without any mill cards. Instead, use Windfall effects to force your opponents to discard their hands and draw new ones. You have the tools to keep your library intact and plenty of defensive options to stave off aggression till the win.

How to Play

- Use Burning Inquiry, Dark Deal, and Reforge the Soul to draw through your opponents' libraries to deck them out.
- Elixir of Immortality lets you reshuffle your graveyard into your library, putting you ahead of your opponent, and Library of Leng lets you skip the discard entirely, allowing you to simply put your hand on top of your library, pitch any cards you don't need, and redraw what you kept.
- Wall of Stone is the biggest beatstick in the game, and can hold off any creature short of Eldrazi and Wurms.
- All of your removal has a madness cost of 1, letting you pick off creatures for cheap without disrupting your gameplan.

- As a final note, between your walls and removal spells, the only creatures that pose a threat are black creatures with <3 attack and >4 health with some sort of evasion ... of which there are like 11 in all of Modern Magic, out of thousands.

Deck discussion for Definition of Insanity

This is perfect for my kitchen table games.

Though, just saying this quietly, tween you and me, cause I'm up waaaay too late at night, you might be on the very very fringe of something really modern playable. Just like. Squint at the cards harder. I have to sleep, but commenting here will allow me to remember this later with out getting bombarded if this hits the hot topic discussion.

Big wheel effects like Wheel of Fortune, Wheel of Fate, and Collective Defiance plus discard punishment effects like Megrim, Liliana's Caress, and Waste Not can help you win faster. Use Howling Mine and the like to keep the opponent's hand full. Sweepers like Anger of the Gods and Damnation alongside spot removal like Fatal Push and Lightning Bolt help keep the board clear.

I think there's a Chandra with a Wheel effect.
