Deck Description

My version of Soul Sisters. Metamorph/Relic-Warder included in sideboard for infinite life gain combo w/ Sisters.

How to Play

Regarding the combo:

You need a sister and Relic-Warder in play for it to work. Once they are, cast Phyrexian Metamorph and have it come into play as a copy of Relic-Warder. You gain one life when this occurs. Relic-Warder allows you to exile one artifact or enchantment when it enters the battlefield. Since Phyrexian Metamorph is still an artifact you can have it exile itself. Once that occurs it will re-enter the battlefield as Phrexian Metamorph since whatever artifact or enchantment Relic-Warder exiles re-enters when it leaves the battlefield, allowing you to repeat the process ad infinitum.

Deck discussion for Soul Sisters

how about adding Suture Priest

Thank for the suggestion. If I were going to add a 2 drop sister to the main board it would be Auriok Champion to dodge things like Fatal Push and Lightning Bolt. Suture's not a bad budget option though.

Maybe I'm just unfamiliar with the mechanics of this deck, but how would Metamorph/Relic-Warder combo for infinite life gain with the Sisters? I get that if you copied a sister with the Metamorph, then you would get the life gain ability, but how does the Relic-Warder fit in? Are you exiling your own Metamorph? I don't see an infinite combo there... unless you're copying the Relic-Warder?... but even that doesn't make sense because you'd still have to blink/exile the one on the battlefield somehow... maybe with Cloudshift? I'm sure you've thought out your deck thoroughly... I'm mainly just curious to understand how/if that works.

Here's an article if you're still confused.

Oh wow... I didn't even realize... I see the light! That is an insane combo, I didn't even realize it could target itself! :D I can see the look on your opponents face when you pull that kind of shenanigan... poor guy...

Haha yeah it's pretty cheese but it's cool if you can pull it off. I'll put my explanation in the description since it is kind of confusing if you're unfamiliar with it. Thanks!
