Deck Description

This was my flagship deck for a few years. My first deck ever was the Way of the Warrior theme deck from kamigawa (In middle school, haha). When I uncovered it years later, I decided to make it as competitive as it could get. If you are looking at this deck you probably already realize the pool of good samurai is not very big at all. This deck utilizes its full potential while still retaining the flavor of Kamigawa and Samurai Warriors. Most of the creatures are Legendary, or benefit from Legendary creatures. It is a battle-worthy deck for sure.

Deck discussion for Legendary Samurai

I like the legendary theme of this deck. Since you have so many legendary mobs, you should up your time of needs to 4 because it is like a free mob as well as the fact that you can get your Reki out quicker, thus increasing your draw rate. I would remove test of faith for your needs.

As for your day of destiny, you might want four so you can start pumping your Leg. mobs sooner, but if you like the control that oblivion ring gives you, then keep the ring.

Good luck

Good advice. I ended up side boarding Test of Faith and putting in an extra Time of Need and Day of Destiny
