Deck Description

Ah, Mirrodin. The highest selling block in Magics history. This set managed by itself to literally break Magic. Standard was simply Affinty or Anti-Affinity. If you did not play one of those two decks, you were pretty much going to be nothing more than a Goblin under a Giant's boot. There was just way to many amazing Artifacts. It took years to fix the damage done by the Mirrodin block, yet the cards from this block still tons of play even today. When it was first printed, you could even expect to see decks of nearly ALL Mirrodin block cards show up to Legacy events! Thats just how powerful and influential Affinity was as an Ability and a Deck.

Yeah it was pretty nuts, I have other What You Need lists on my Profile if you wanna look. Unfortunately, not ALL the cards for Affinity are in Mirrodin. You need Ravager and the Equipment that escapes my mind at the moment.... kinda making me wonder. It gives +1+0 for each Artifact you control and its really cheap to play.
