It looks a little slow to me with six lands that come into play tapped and no decent blockers early game. I like to run shell-dweller just because at 2-drop he is a good early blocker. I don't see anything to protect from fliers, maybe maje room for a couple tower defense?

Yeah the deck looks a pretty defenseless in general. :/The Shell-Dweller Thallid would have been my first suggestion, too. Then, Leyline of Vitality would be perfect in there :D I mean.. 1v life for each Saproling? And then they're even getting some more endurance on top.And what about some artifact/enchantment removals? 1-2 Naturalize never hurt ;)Against annoying counter controll decks maybe a Gaea's Heral in the Sideboard wouldn't be bad either.
