Deck Description

The intent of this deck was to accelerate to the big creatures as quickly as possible.

Ramp:

Elvish Mystic - One drop ramp

Sylvan Caryatid - Two drop ramp

Courser of Kruphix - Three drop land grab

Karametra's Acolyte - Devotion Ramp

Defense:

Fog - damage mitigation for a turn

Offense: Mistcutter Hydra - I can bring this guy out as early or as late as I can afford with as many counters on him as I can afford.

Kalonian Hydra - this guy is really the heart mechanic of the offense. Every time he attacks he doubles the counter for not only himself, but all his buddies as well. So he is an instant 8/8 as soon as he attacks, which doubles the counters on Mistcutter Hydra . It gets even more fun when I have multiples of this dude out.

Sylvan Primordial - this guy is for enchantment/permanent/land removal plus he gives me the ability to go get a land and shuffle my deck.

Polukranos, World Eater - I <3 this dude. Gets huge and allows me to pick off troublesome individual creatures.

Nylea, God of the Hunt - Trample

Board Enchantments - Bow of Nylea - Deathtouch and all the goodness that comes with this card.

Garruk, Caller of Beasts - holy hell, emblem, emblem emblem!!!!

Sideboard:

Bramblecrush - more permanent defense

Pithing Needle - hard counter against Pack Rat because it annoys me so

Alpha Authority - protection for my creatures against burn and control

Tower Defense - Anti Flyers

How vital is it that you stay Mono green? would you be willing to splash red? The only reason i ask is because several of my friends run a ono green splash red deck that only adds 2x hammer of purphoros and either messengers speed or hellraiser goblin. dropping a khalonian hydra with haste and trample is too much for most people.

right now your running 10 total bombs (over 4 converted mana cost) but your only running twenty land. elvish mystic is fine to count on for ramp but having a courser in your hand doesnt get you more land if you only draw three land the whole game. in order for sylvan caryatid to help you you have to drop it turn two. you have to have two lands in your opening hand or one land and an elvish mystic. Then you have to hit your first two land drops to play anything else.

its a lot better imo to pick the most essential bombs (i would go 3 khalonian hydra, 3 mistcutter 2 garruk and 2 pulkranos) for total of 8 big bombs and ten total bombs. the primordial is far too expensive even with ramp since he doesnt win you the game when he drops (you should have won well before you drop him). garruk is an enabler and often times you should win before you hit his emblem anyway.

The deck is standard. The Titan won't work, but both of the JIN hydras will probably make their way in the deck.
