Deck Description

This is to all the haters who have ragged on my past work especially thealextheory the only problem is its pricy- this deck is meant to allow you to find and use exactly the cards you need and force your opponent to discard his whole deck.

I know people have been harsh to you, its kinda upsetting. I apologize for them, it was kind of ridiculous of that guy you mentioned to act the way he has been. Anyway, I think a good start for you is to find what format your wanna play. From the looks of it, Legacy is where you are gonna be sitting at. All cards legal except those on the Banned list. No Restricted List. If I were you, I would go with a more specialized approach. Its okay to play alittle of everything, sometimes, but here I do not see a need to have the mill from Glimpse. Your deck is very Aggro hate. Lots of creature removal. At the same time, the real way of winning the game is kinda, lack luster. Ball Lightning good, but easily handled. Wisp doesnt win you a game. The Thief is nice, but your not playing Merfolk or a real control deck per say. Why not play something such as..... Red Fish Blue Fish? Merfolk and Counter for Blue and Red for Burn? Its a much easier concept, and it will still have the same idea your going with here. You could even keep the Isochron in if you really want to, I prefer Aether Vial though to put the Merfolk in for free. You could use some multicolor lands aswell to make it alittle more consistant and less based on luck of the draw on your lands. +1

You might be comfortable with the colors, but your mana base doesnt help much. At the same time, the deck feels really frazzled and really confused on which direction to go. I didnt say you had to change, what I am saying is trying to cut 1 Color and come up with a simpler and definite theme. You already have the Counter and Burn ideas here, what your missing is a viable way to win and the right mana base to support it. Red Fish Blue Fish would give you all those things wrapped into one deck while still keeping the colors your comfortable with here (minus black). Its up to you, its your deck! I was just saying what I believe you should do.

i think th emajor problem is you combine burn and mill
mill isn't effective when used in small quantities it just isn't enough
an di know you use isochron but isochron is too easily stopped (null rod) for example

allso ball lighting doenst fit in a 3 color deck his cost is waaaay too heavy and allso uquite useless in combination with mill.

and yes there is an enchantment in shadowmoor i think that makes all enchantments uncounterable and indestructible

and about what you wanted to make nuisance engine isn't good enough at making tokens
and using thopter factory is too risky

maybe but then i'm talkng about something never tried before you can make a rebel deck summoning many rebels rapidly (strong on itself) and use quicksilver fountain (sicne the abilities don't need white mana) and day of the dragon as wincon

it would be somehing liek turn 1 rebel turn 2 rebel turn 3 fountain turn 4 fetch rebels
til you have thinned your deck enough to go for the win and transform your rebels in dragons without risking a lose when they are destroyed since rebels build up faster than any other type

If you've got the cash to spend on cards, I would say to definitely go for the dual lands and fetch lands. They help out a lot in multicolored decks.
