Deck Description

Balancing Deck, which relies heavily on "Suspend" and "Cascade". It is very similar to living end, in its own way.

The deck used to be found as a legacy deck by utilizing sacrifice lands from Invasion, Terravore and Balancing Act.

How to Play

Try and suspend as many creatures as possible.

The cascade effect of Ardent Plea or Violent Outburst will put a Restore Balance immediately into play.

The game is therefor all about finding the right timing to cast Ardent Plea or Violent Outburst. If you at the appropriate time is also able to sacrifice your lands to a suspended Gargadon, you will clean the board for lands and creatures.

Then you just have to wait for your suspended cards to get into play, while your opponent frantically tries to top-draw something useful.

I find this deck slightly more resilient than Living End, as this format is normally stacked with graveyard hate. But be very careful if you're facing spells like Slaughter Games. These cards can truly ruin your day.

Be advised that while your opponent can't counter the cascade effect (triggered ability), he can counter the spell that resolves as a result of the trigger. So be careful to time your cascade spell correctly.
