Martyr Life is a fun deck to play. Unfortunately it has not won many tournaments, as it lacks a bit versatility. It life gain mechanics makes the deck into a nightmare for RDW.
Get out Soul Warden/Soul's Attendant in round 1, and from there you gain plenty of life while building a hard hitting Pridemate or Serra Ascendant.Squadron Hawk and Ranger of Eos fish for more creatures, which combo very nicely with Martyr of Sands.
