The main concept is to get Steel of the Godhead out and to protect it. Sounds weak I know but Ive won games with just that alone because my opponents cant block it. Battlewise Hoplite is the most recent addition to it. I dont have a sideboard mainly because I havent found some for it yet. Suggestions would be nice. Ive built this deck from the ground up by myself. Its far from the strongest deck but I just love the Steel of the Godhead/Geist of Saint Traft combo.
Early turn drops are usually turn two creatures like Ethercaste Knight, Battlewise Hoplite or Esper Stormblade. After that is usually Geist of Saint Traft or Godhead on one of the weaker creatures. After is protecting enchantments with hindering light or use Feeling of dread to slow my opponents creatures down. Offering to asha is for turn 4 and on if my opponent is using a slightly expensive deck plus it gains you life even if the opponent has the 4 mana to stop it. Double cleave is for the extra damage but usually comboed with godhead for pretty good life gain.
