I wasn't sold on the Grim Discovery myself originally, but its actually quite good. Because it just says target land and not target basic land, you can use it to return fetches to your hand to help further thinning the deck for better draws. And in the same turn, you can return a Nocturnus or any other useful vamp that either died to removal or sac'd itself.

I see absolutely no point in Marsh Flats or Verdant Catacombs when you're running only black. Just replace them with swamps and you'll look a lot less like a fool, to be honest.

....seriously, you see no point in the fetch lands? it's for the Vampire nocturnus... you use the fetch lands to pull out swamps and thin your deck out, removing lands from your library, leaving just black cards. So every turn you will have +2/+1 flying to all vampires. Thats half the point to ALL fetch lands, deck thinning. but anyways, it's a solid deck, but I would honestly loose the planeswalkers and main deck duress. turn one discard is always a good thing. Get rid of their removal right away,

actually grim discovery helps to fix and reuse your fetch lands so that you can empty all the lands in your deck in order to maximize your nocturnus, the use of fetch lands in a vampire deck is very very essential. This deck's usual finish from 3-1 to 4-0
