Deck Description

In my shack I have many a potion, however you must bring with you a lot of devotion.
Transform you must the Chalice of Life, then it shall hurt more than a knife.
Do not worry if you might fail, for this deck has other ways to prevail.

Beat your opponent with some sick rhymes and nasty brews!

I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to improve this deck. I am a new player to Magic so I don't always see what's bad and what isn't, especially with the land base. Please keep in mind that this is a budget deck meant to cost <40$.

How to Play

Gain life and try to transform Chalice of Life turning it into Chalice of Death (Has the ability: [T] Target player loses 5 life). That's your best win condition.

This deck contains a lot of cards to stall out the game. Don't be afraid of keeping a card like Day of Judgement in your starting hand, If your opponent overcommits on the board it might take them several turn to stabilize. Thus stalling the game out even longer.

Well of Lost Dreams provides excellent card draw. Wall of Omens is really good at stalling early AND draws you a card to replace it, seems pretty good to me. Survival Cache can also net you some cards whilst giving life.

Your other win conditions in the late game are Garruk Apex Predator and White Sun's Zenith. Aegis Angel helps secure the Chalice of Death win condition, by making it indestructible.

Lastly, Elixir of Immortality can be a win condition as well. While it doesn't directly help you win the game, It can in theory reset your whole library. Letting you use those cards, which were in your graveyard once again. It also can let the deck run for an infinite amount of turns.

Sideboard contains more stalling options, swap them with your other cards depending on the matchup. Sanguine Blood if you want an extra win condition.

Deck discussion for Budget: Zecora's Brews

Love the deck description.
There's some serious potential here, except I could suggest adding some target too in addition to that boardwiper. Best cards could be Mortify and/or Putrefy. Maybe a slot in the sideboard could do the trick?

Otherwise, I love it. Hitting that goddamn +1 like -button.

As much as I like the idea of killing your opponent with Sanguine Bond, I dropped it from the sideboard for 2 Putrefy. I suppose if you wanted to swap in some removal, you could put in Journey to Nowhere mixed with Putrefy instead of just Journey to Nowhere. Thanks for the advice.
