I knew you were gonna bring up pyroconvergence. I could nix those and go for 3 madcap skills, go up to 61. Or, I could swap out the weapon surges for the madcap skills and maybe trade the pyrocons for a pair of rix maadi spawns, to keep the mana curve semi stable.

Questionable "300" reference is questionable...

Yeah, realized that yesterday, well, I'll swap out doom blade for murder if I'm doing FNM or something, but otherwise I'm happy to have it in there.

Yeah, but none of the Innistrad stuff is gonna be legal in a little bit anyway.

Just Side boarded Murder. Executioner's swing is a bit too reactive for my taste. I went with doom blade because its cheaper than murder (very important with extort) plus I'm not too concerned with the legality thing.

The reason that the decks that I put here are the way that are is that they are records of decks that I have already built, drawn from my own collection. I don't do much in the way of buying singles, so my stock comes mostly from booster packs. I work with what I have, and therefore my decks tend to be a bit more scatter shot, but I still find them to be effective.

Thanks for the response, I have been thinking of buying a a few singles to balance out the deck. When I first put the thing together, I wasn't thinking it would work very well at all, given the fact that it's a three color deck. I have been pleasantly surprised by how well it has worked so far.
