i do have plenty of ways to keep my creatures alive after board wipes such as boros charm, or i can counter the spell if it has an X in it with frontline medic. i appreciate the advice though :)

Yes, it is quite slow at times, but the deadly recluse help me protect myself, opponents never attack me when they are out unless their creature has first strike or double strike of course. I also place arachnus webs on my opponents creatures to stop them from hitting me etc. Thanks for the comment :).
