This deck originated from a blue/artifact mill deck I have made in the past. Recently discovering the Pauper format, I decided to make a deck from my leftover commons of my old mill deck and splash in green to help prevent an onslaught of combat damage as well as prevent the removal of my creatures.
Play defenders for a cheap converted mana cost, use Overgrown Battlement for ramp if needed be. Protect yourself by returning the opponent's permanents to his or her hand or by preventing combat damage by use of Fog. Control the board with Claustrophobia. Mill out your opponent with instants and sorceries, but also while using Doorkeeper's activated ability.

The description could be a little more detailed ;)A very versatile spell here would be Muddle the Mixture as it enables you to tutor Doorkeeper or any other cmc2 spell. I would also recommend Echoing Truth as this card can help you against token-heavy decks or put any other nonland card onto it's owners hand. If you want to add another color then green would be an option for mana-acceleration or black for removal. Both have some good defenders and some interesting support spells. GreetingsMuktol
