Deck discussion for Old Growth Ass Whoopin'

I like. Good stuff. Unstoppable Ash and Doran work very well together.

though timber protectors might be a good addition? They've always worked out well for me.

Timber protector is rediculous... How do I not own any of those!?

Thanks Flip. I just have A LOT of cards. Got a sweet deal on a dude's collection. He had 3 complete sets of almost every block and had NO IDEA what they wre worth. Retarded. But, believe it or not, I'm usually the underdog in my circle of 4. Two of the guys are just full on badass Magic players and I usually wind up getting my ass handed to me.

snap dude. Prismatic Omen would be sick for gathering swamp and plains for doran.

Agreed, but I have never had a problem getting him out. Plus, I don't like to entrust one card to do something that's so important. This deck's main aggro base is Doran and Unstoppable Ash...

Of course, it'd be much easier to add Prismatic Omen if you don't already have the mechanics set up without it.

true. adding prismatic omen would alter your deck completely. no point.

Yup. If it ain't broke... My only losses were to a counterspell decks, burn decks, and control decks. It's sorta messed up when a deck like this can keep up with weenies...

eh well im altering my counterspell deck. it used to be a 5 color conglomeration of crap. it was like 100+ cards lol. im basically cutting it up and making 2 decks. for starters im making it into that blue-black counter-destroy i have up. the second is the angels and demons burn/gain life. theyre both major works in progress. any wisdom you could share would be extremely helpful.

I have an Angels /Dragon deck, but it's not R/W... You might be able to get some good ideas from it, though.
