I'm glad you like it, 'nox. I've never had one card solve all the problems I had in a deck before. I think I'm gonna split my barbs into three decks. I don't want to, but I don't have anyone to talk me out of cards I've become attached to (Balthor, Jeska, and Kamahl).

I was never a real fan of the warlord. watch for destruction tactics. alltogether a good deck

I wasn't until they made him, Balthor, and Lovisa barbarians. Those three creatures make him a 6/6... Destruction tactics should always be watched with a creature based deck.

Thanks for liking it even though it's over 60 cards. Multiplayer is as different from 1v1 as Al Sharpton is to Dick Cheaney and few people get that.

Thanks everyone. I'm STILL not happy with Keldon Warlord or Soul Foundry. What do you think about Sensei Golden-Tail and General Takeno to replace them? I'm also considering Braid of Fire for the simple fact that Shattering spree is in this deck. We still play mana burn (because it's such a HUGE part of the game), but with Balthor out, I think I could manage. Also, what do you think I should shave off in order to add Browbeat? I didn't realize how much I used that card until it was gone.

Took out Konda's Banner because I just realized that colorless creatures can't share a color.

well if you put in the sensei the you should add coat of arms because all samurais get the bonus and if they're all barbarians they get an additional bonus and if they're also human they get another bonus. and if you add those in then i would also take out the luxodon hammer and the umbral mantle for 4 of them and put in another braid of fire and browbeat.

Agreed. I'll test it out, but I always seem to need trample (and lifelink) at some key point in the game and Umbral Mantle is just insane with Braid of Fire out.

Wait... they only get +1/+1 for each creature that shares a creature type with them, not each creature type they share with another creature. If I have 1 Barbarian, 3 Barbarian Samurai, and 2 Samurai, the barbarian would get +3/+3, the barbarian samurai would get +5/+5, and the samurai would get +4/+4. I don't think Coat of Arms is really worth it when I have no token generation and 2 different tribes.

braid of fires mana will drain at the end of your upkeep, unless you can play shaterring spree at instant speed take the braid out, it'll kill you.

Braid of Fire is more targeted towards Balthor and Umbral Mantle. Plus, with the new rules, mana burn is out. I tried telling my play group about the rule change and they nixed it (and I must say I agree). Mana burn is far too key to the game to get rid of. I once won a game because of Eladamri's Vineyard.
