Deck Description

This EDH deck is made to be an elf/eldrazi deck, the main idea is to get land as quickly as possible and maintain a reasonable hand size. Mind's eye, howling mine, top and tower of fortunes all do this constantly. I know tower of fortunes is a lot to activate but you should have a tone of mana anyways with this deck.

Azusa, lost but seeking is the general because of her ability. You want to get out land as quickly as possible so you can start casting you game winning eldrazi cards or get a load of elves onto the field. Also most of the cards in here where chosen so that they don't give you opponents to much of a boost(really the only board affecting card is howling mine).

If you don't like Azusa as the general, then one of the legendary elves could take her place.

Please comment and give suggestions. Thanks.

Deck discussion for Eldrazi EDH

i would go 4 llanowar, treespeakers, archdruid, (any other elf tht gives mana). 4 fuana shamans 4 elvish pipers. thts 28 cards put in 12-16 elderazis and run 16-20 land. with the elves giving you mana you dont need spells. check out my eldearzi deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=234283

Um thanks dude. But this is an EDH, also now as Commander format. The deck has to have exactly 100 cards and only one of each card can be in the deck... But if you want to see an my "Elves of Eldrazi" deck look here. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=235087

I would put in some tutoring/creature fetch and a couple more mana elves. Maybe the elf that taps one for each forest? Then Wood Elves and Farhaven Elves would be good as well to thin out your lands and give you a chance to draw into the eldrazi.

Another thing that you should know is that Emrakul is banned in EDH. I would personally go with a GR general so you can have more Eldrazi support in the deck, or just put in some more mana/fetch elves.

Also if you have the time, I would appreciate it if you looked at my deck.

Wow. How did I look over that. Sigh. Goodbye beloved emakrul. Well i can still play him using spawnsire's ability. As for going GR, I'm not sure. I've never really been a fan of red :/ to aggro for me, greens aggro, but in a different way. As for the elves, thanks I looked past farhaven elf, but the the rest of them do help out the decks flow, by cycling creaters, retreiving land and the like. I think if you would go through the list you would see theirs more fetching than you think. Plus there's massive draw power artifacts.
And I'll check ur deck out too. I'm new to EDH and haven't actually played one yet so i don't know how helpful I'll be.
