Only enchantments! Yup you red white Most of this deck runs during your upkeep. Braid of fire adds mana to you mana pool every turn but empties once the phase ends. So really only instant spells and abilities can take advantage of this unique card. That's where Searing Blaze comes into play, every time you gain life you can activate this bomb shell. So why not use cards like Ajani's Mantra and Recumbent Bliss, that let you gain life during your upkeep? This allows you to access the free mana from Braid of Fire each turn and zap any pesky creatures or go in for direct damage. Please leave thoughts and suggestions on how to improve. Thanks

I like it. more Personal sanctuary + more mana barbs. Also, war's toll. i know u didn't want to do creatures, but all of the enchantresses would make this deck really seem tribal. Also, spirit link on an opponent's creature is like they never deal damage, you gain the life and it sets off searing meditation. idyllic tutor, zendikond, genjus. If u make the changes i suggested in the beginning, u could cut ajnai's mantra, spiteful visions, story circle, and probably even magmatic core as i'm sure thay are 2 ofs for a reason (except the mantra, which we can both agree i'm sure could be replaced.)

I'm building a deck with a similar idea, but im going to put 'sigil of the empty throne' in mine, i figure with all the enchantments im putting out, i might as well get some free defenders.
That card is sick, and i was going to add it, but i was originally trying to make the deck win without creatures. But that died when i realized the card draw for mesa was to good to pass up. I might a 2 in here but, for now ill be passing. Good luck with yours.
