Deck Description

This is a play on the popular standard esper control deck. The differences for this deck allow it to focus more on a large play group of people, which is typically how I play. It is surprisingly effective in head to head match-ups, winning about 80% of head to head games. The key with this deck, as it typically is with spell control, is to maintain a VERY strong card advantage to keep the board as clear as possible for as long as possible.

How to Play

The number one focus for me with this deck is to try and get brainstorm imprinted onto an isochron scepter as soon as possible. This allows you to get the most out of the miracle cards while also maintaining the card advantage to win. I typically wait until I can get the most out of my wrath effects by not worrying too much about a dwindling life total early in the game. Do not be afraid to drop a small entreat the angels to keep treats off in the early portion of the game, you may end up wrathing away you angel tokens but only to get an even more effective threat off the board.

As the game starts to get into the later portion of play sphinx's revelation does what it does best, reload your hand and life. As the game progresses more isochron scepters will become your best friend. If you can get a mystical tutor imprinted you can almost assure victory. To finish things off you have two Aetherlings and you can miracle MASSIVE entreat the angels.

If somehow you find yourself running low on cards psychic spiral and elixir of immortality reboot the system. I like to run two spirals sometimes just to get infinite usage of certain spells with an isochroned tutor, but running two elixirs wouldn't be a bad idea. I typically run one of each just for fun.
