Deck discussion for Biovisions

Artisan of Forms and Progenitor Mimic

Definitely needs 4 Artisan of the Forms and 4 Clones.

The tactic with Elusive Krasis doesn't make much sense and I would replace it with more stuff to get your Biovisionaries cloned, out, and alive. Stolen Identity is too expensive to cast when you're running mostly gates. Elite Anarcist is not that useful.

Mnemonic wall is also not super useful. Having a wall could still be useful though, but Wall of Frost would be better.

Long story short with Elusive Krasis:
Use your 1/5 Krasis to hit your opponent with unblockable to activate Stolen Identity
Artisan of Forms could help with making copies of it
Mnemonic was is used as a instant/sorcery recycler and half decent blocker
I didn't really want to use Clone though, don't know why really
As for the gates, I can change them. It was just a quick grab for dual lands to produce all of the BUG mana, and can be changed in a heart beat

I dont see how the Elusive Krasis/Stolen Identity tactic helps get you biovisionaries

I also forgot to mention Krasis + Identity + Fireshrieker = DOUBLE TOKENS! YAY!
I like to look for an alternative, and a bit outside of the box

the Stolen Identity's cipher will only give you a copy of another krasis if that's what you put it on, which doesn't help you

Card Rules
Put a token onto the battlefield that's a copy of target artifact or creature. Cipher (Then you may exile this spell card encoded on a creature you control. Whenever that creature deals combat damage to a player, its controller may cast a copy of the encoded card without paying its mana cost.)

MEANING:
Cipher = enchantment like spell
*copy of TARGET creature or artifact, meaning I can copy ANYTHING on the battlefield

Please just trust me when I say this: Read the card completely before you argue some of your points. I've learnt that the hard way

Yeah, so you're saying you copy Krasis. Now you have a Krasis token with Stolen Identity attached as well as an actual Krasis. Then you activate the Cipher spell by dealing combat damage, so Stolen Identity is now exiled and you get to make another copy of Krasis (the encoded card). So now you have 3 Krasis' and no Biovisionary copies.

By the way, when Krasis gets copied, the Fireshrieker does not get copied, so no double strike, and it gets copied as a 0/4 since counters don't transfer over in a card copy. So you're just placing down another 0/4 with evolve.

TARGET
This means that I can copy ANY creature or artifect EVERY TIME IT IS USED
Cipher makes the card similar to an enchantment: It has a copy encoded onto the creature that is played every time it deals combat damage to a player
THEREFORE: you are wrong/being a troll, I'm right, your argument is invalid and you obiously don't understand a thing about House Dimir and its agents
E.g. Hidden Strings: Tap/Untap target non-land permanent, then tap/untap another non-land permanent --> this can be anything on the battlefield, not just the ciphered creature

Jeez, I only explained how you were wrong once, then you insisted and went back to YOUR original point, partly (I believe) to be a lack of understanding for a card + some slight stubbornness
I've both been playing for long enough and have used enough of these cards to know exactly hwo to use them. It just takes a little time to get use to it. A card that you may have been thinking of with your argument would have been Infinite Reflection. Which is all creatures you control are a copy of enchanted creature

Sure I might be wrong (I probably am) but you don't need to be rude about it. The whole point of a site like this is to get constructive feedback and learn the mechanics of the game better.

Sorry, I get a bit carried away sometimes. It was just how you were writing in your comments just got me a bit worked up. Cipher isn't easy to understand to begin with. I didn't understand it at all when I read it at the Gatecrash Pre-release, and so I had to get someone else to explain it to me
