Deck Description

This modern infect deck will almost always win.

How to Play

Play your cheap creatures like Glistener Elf, next turn unleash hell with the green buff spells. Don't be afraid to pay life to pay for the mutagenics or especially the apostle's blessings; I encourage it. Be merciless!

Deck discussion for Infect deck wins

this deck may not have many lands in it but it does not need much land because this deck is designed for speed and aggreassion and will win on turn 2 to 5, all the dual lands are there as a major backup if they are in your opening hand. If you want more lands in it, play an orhov deck, slowpoke!

play the flensermite over mutagenic growth and -2 prey's vengeance for the last two phytoburst

Prey's vengeance is an instant, and it has rebound. Even if they block, it still comes back. Only use phytoburst IF they're helpless. Buff over creature anyway. If you can't keep your creatures, your too slow. Besides, mutagenic can be paid with life. Making it an ideal card in combination with Rancor or Giant Growth, or rather when your out of lands

but the deck is all about attack. you should be taking the damage like a masochist, then slamming them for game turn three

s0rinmark0v is my brother, and I know how to use the deck. Trust me, the way it is set up actually WORKS, and it is ALMOST unbeatable. I say ALMOST because of my First Strike deck. I'll be putting that up soon, by the way.

PrinceCooshie101, I refer the almost to control and burn decks in terms of winning. You also haven't versed my revised version, aka this one!

If you can't get the dual lands, just swap them with basics for the time being, its what I did....

This deck should have Ranger's Guile or Vines of Vastwood in the main deck, moving Apostles Blessing to the Sideboard. Oblivion Ring and Pyroclasm effects and blue bounce can all stall you out. Fast red decks and good control decks can stop you before you deal lethal damage. Infect is all about speed or total control of the board. Decks that fall in the middle of the spectrum usually cannot beat tournament quality decks. Your deck is good and fast, but it should be even faster. Check out my Legacy Infect deck for a fast version of Infect.

You have a point there.

I did consider having them in the deck, and burn and control decks will always be the death of this deck, believe me. It is also Black/Green! The Apostle's Blessings are only there because they can be paid with 2 life, which is a relatively small price to pay for the protection of your creatures. This is also a modern deck, legacy isn't exactly a style i'm into but I will consider some of your deck for future decks

It's cool, Dead Weight may work better for you than Disfigure.

Possibly. Disfigure was a quick grab for removal

I have a newer version of this deck that I'm trying to achieve
Wild Defiance is too slow for this deck, but I have included Might of Old Krosa and Inkmoth Nexus in my newer version
