Deck Description

A black and blue deck that revolves around [Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker] and offers only 1-power creatures with repeatable effects.

How to Play

[Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker] allows every other creature in this deck to resurrect, should they hit the grave. As a matter of fact, it's encouraged. There are a plethora of different abilities, some triggering as the creature enters the battlefield and some triggering as they leave. Some creatures allow the sacrifice of themselves or others to activate even more abilities.

Shirei is offered damage protection in the form of [Darksteel Plate] and spell protection in the form of [Whispersilk Cloak]. [Elixir of Immortality] provides maximum oops protection, and it should be able to save any creatures you want to get back, as well as extend any games you might not be in favor of. You'll always be able to hit the ground running when you use it because the deck operates consistently.

[Big Game Hunter] shuts down late-game threats. [Deathgreeter] gets you tons of life as you sacrifice more and more of your horde. [Sage of Epityr], [Sage Owl], [Viscera Seer] and [Augury Owl] allow you to strategize, and [Cadaver Imp] allows you to retrieve Shirei, should he get lost. [Bloodflow Connoisseur] and [Viscera Seer] let you pick and choose your effects while the connoisseur beefs herself up as one of the larger creatures in your deck, just in case the sheer numbers and numerous effects aren't enough. Leftover black mana can be spent on [Liliana's Shade] to make it a threatening late-game presence as well.
