[Crypt Ghast]'s extortion can be used for life gain to keep you afloat. A cheap early-game [Marshmist Titan] is very possible with [Nantuko Shade], [Black Knight] and [Liliana's Shade] rapidly contributing to your devotion. [Nightmare]'s stats and [Lashwrithe]'s effect will both be extremely potent as the game progresses. Mana from [Magus of the Coffers] and [Crypt Ghast] will ramp exponentially, and should be funneled into your shades for maximum power.
