Need some help with this one! This is a build designed to take advantage of one of the weaker block-specific gimmicks - Naya's "Power 5 or greater" mechanic (see also: little brother "Ferocious"). These are just some cards I had laying around that I wanted to make something out of. It's Modern legal, but probably not on the level of most top tier decks. Still fun to play, though.
Play high power creatures to take advantage of Cream of the Crop, which will net you five cards to choose from (almost) every time.For the creatures: Sheltering Ancient is a power player in this deck, and Forbidden Orchard helps it stick around for a few turns (and fixes our mana). Cylian Sunsinger would be a slightly safer alternative. Woolly Thoctar is vanilla, but provides good value. Spellbreaker Behemoth gives our guys a little protection, though I consider this slot to be flexible. In the past, I have had Armada Wurm/Enlisted Wurm/Blitz Hellion/Mycoid Shepherd in its place. Thragtusk is great here, and the mana cost is very convenient for a three-color deck to handle.Other spells: Pandemonium recently replaced Where Ancients Tread, which was a great fit flavor-wise, but Pandemonium is just flat-out better. I typically play it at a time where I have no fear of return damage from my opponent. Advent of the Wurm gives us another 5/5 body at instant speed, perfect for combat tricks or an end-of-opponent's-turn Crop/Pandemonium trigger. Dromoka's Command doubles as protection and spot removal. Soul's Fire should be obvious.The "sideboard" has a bunch of other stuff I considered, so anything you see listed there that you think might work better, please let me know. I thought about adding Blue for Scute/Oracle/Nulltread synergy, so I left those cards in there, too.
