Deck Description

Ally deck using jund colors. Duress and Vines of Vastwood are to prevent removal. Trying to build on somewhat of a budget as well.

Deck discussion for BRG Allies

I would put terminates in instead of doomblades, and put in blightnings then put the duresses in the side board.

Since you said semi-budget I won't recommend things like maelstrom pulse, but the above two should be pretty cheap.

There should probably be another kazzul warlord and turntimber ranger in there. Is there a reason you skipped the Pyromancers? I'm not a fan of the Bala Ged Thief, but that's my personal opinion.

Main board the bolts instead of duress (put them sideboard). Sideboard doom blade for terminate like arkender said. No reason not to run blightning in this deck. Even in decks it doesn't necessarily compliment... it is such a good card, it just needs to be played. I would put 2 or 3 in here.

Ahh totally forgot about the terminates. I've been running a semi-version of this deck with mainly the dual lands missing (currently using the borderposts for that). I threw Bala Ged in their mainly because its one of the somewhat cheaper allies, plus it would help with getting rid of removal cards. I could probably get rid of Nimana Sellsword/Tuktuk Grunts in favor of more Warlords and Rangers too, although then the mana curve would be pretty heavy on 5cc. Hopefully the Harrows will fix that though. I skipped pyromancers mainly because they're so costly to play and his purpose is just to burn, so I figured perhaps it would be better to throw in actual burns/removal instead.

True, blightning is such a good card to pass up... Its just the removals my opponents will probably run that I'm afraid of, as I've noticed that picking off allies one by one overtime really weakens the power of the deck. Duress helps to guarantee that I do discard a removal spell, and its dirt cheap to play.

Thanks for the input though guys, I appreciate it!
