Deck Description

Another infect deck idea to play around with. Focuses on placing poison counters through non-combat means via Rats, Praetors, and proliferate. Counters for control and to help keep Praetors on the field (Corpse Cur comes into play here too), bounces to save and re-use the effects of Rats and Praetors, and Distortion Strikes because it's just so damn good with infect.

Figured since most of the cards are standard, I may as well keep it type 2.

Deck discussion for Infect non-combat

Virulent Wound may help out early game, kill any 1/1 creatures and they get a poison counter. Throne of Geth, too, in combination with corpse cur and core prowler can ramp up those poison counters. Maybe remove two of your lands for a few other cards. I like the idea of this deck! I love doing fun stuff with infect instead of just aggro infect. Good work!

I would suggest Mimic Vat for the Ichor Rats if/when they die. Use the Vat to spring a Rat token out and pop on another poison counter.
