Deck Description

A versatile U/W Control Deck:

I really like this deck because it basically does everything I like to do with my other decks like TaN or Scepter Chant. It produces massive amounts of mana and searches the UrzaTron efficently via its awesome carddraw-engine consisting of 12 Cards, 8 of which double as a counterspell and can be potentially reused via Isochron Scepter. It plays the main combinations of Scepter Chant while being more efficient at pulling out the finishers e.g. Exalted Angel or Decree of Justice. At the same time it's a great control deck with imprinted spells and the always nasty Mindslaver, which in this build can create a lock when paired with Academy Ruins. It is able to survive both the early and the late game and has counter measures for almost any strategy. It also plays a nice combo (who looked at my TaN deck knows I love combos) and one that offers a potential instant kill.

The Gameplan as such is very simple: Conter anything your opponent tries to throw at you while you draw through your deck and build your mana base fast using Tron, then try to lock him down with either Scepter/Chant or Mindslaver as soon as you got enough mana. Finally you can either throw a big flyer at your enemy (or ´many if you used Decree) or play the instant damage Doll/Conscience combo for a win.

If you get very lucky this deck allows for a turn 3 win:
Turn one: play one Urza-Land
Turn two: play the second Urza-Land and tap both to play Azorius Signet
Turn three: play third Urza-Land, play Stuffy Doll for 5, pay one to the Signet and use the white mana to play Guilty Conscience (in which case you still have enough mana to play a Mana Leak, Repeal or Remand)
WIN!!!

UrzaTron: Mana Acceleration

Academy Ruins: Brings back Scepter or Doll, creates a LOCKDOWN in conjunction with Slaver

Exalted Angel: flying beatstick for the late game, life regain

Eternal Dragon: flying beatstick, able to exchange for plains and able to return to be reused

Stuffy Doll: Throwout for TfK, efficient blocker, combo with Guilty Conscience = potential INSTANT WIN

Azorius Signet: Mana Acceleration, Throwout for TfK

Isochron Scepter: Control with Repeal or Remand, LOCKDOWN with Chant

Mindslaver: Enemy Control

Orim's Chant: Lockdown

Mana Leak: Conter

Remand: Slows down enemy, Draw

Thirst for Knowledge: Draw

Repeal: Slows down enemy, Draw

Wrath of God: Massive creature removal

Decree of Justice: produces a high number of creatures for attacking and blocking

Guilty Conscience: Combo with Stuffy Doll = potential INSTANT WIN

Sideboard:

Meddling Mage: Allows to directly target enemy strategies (especially control)

Crucible of Worlds: Counter against Landdestrcution (saves UrzaTron and Academy Ruins)

Engineered Explosives: used for Wrath in certain matchups

Spell Snare: Early Conter (especially helpful against fast decks)

Condemn: Temporary creature removal (especially helpful against fast decks)

Circle of Protection: Red: Protection from Red especially against fast goblin builds

!!! I was originally thinking about putting 2x Gfts Ungiven into the Maindeck but I think with 12 Drawing Cards, 8 of which can be potentially reused again via Isochron Scepter, there really is no more need for that. Instead I added two additonal counterspells in form of Mana Leak.
In addition I thought about including Tolaria West but I don't know if it is worth the 4 slots with all the card drawing just to be able to search out a Tron piece for 3 mana.
I would like to hear others' oppinions on that please!!!
