Deck Description

The objective of this deck is to use Enchantment spam to generate a super high tax for the opponent to attack. A number of cards like Eidolon synergize well with enchantments and the point is to get as much dmg as possible out while your opponent is taxed on mana

How to Play

This deck features a number of creature combos you can pull off. Nyx-Fleece Ram enchanted with Sunbond and Unflinching Courage will create a very large problem for an enemy and set up your board nicely for Sphere on turn 5 or 6. Soul Tithe plus Silent Sentinel makes for an absolutely dirty combination, especially on things with a very high CMC.

Sunbond and Unflinching, IF POSSIBLE, should be used on Archangel of Thune. This combo is incredibly evil as Archangel will spread counters like AIDS to everything on your side of the field.

Any card in this deck can benefit from Sunbond but it is best not to put it on tech like Archetype, Eidolon, or Sentinel. These creatures are already a big threat and there is no further need to make them scarier.

When silent sentinel attacks, it is usually best to bring Soul Tithes back from the graveyard.

COUNTERPLAY

Flying: This deck is decent vs. flying. Bow of Nylea allows for sniping of flying, and beefy flyers like Silent Sentinel can make quick work of stronger fliers.

Enchantment removal: Bait it. You have to outplay it. There are so many threatening enchants at your disposal, your opponent can't possibly remove them all. Just be careful and don't give him too much value to his spells.

High levels of creature removal: The more spells an opponent has to neutralize creatures, the less creatures he has. He needs that hard removal to protect what few he has or himself. Take advantage of this and focus on spreading out auras so recurrent on just one creature, and place a lot of early Soul Tithes. Control decks like this need to set up the late game. Having to pay every turn is frustrating and stalls any strategies. Control is a harder matchup but definitely winnable.

Aggro: you make big creatures fast. Focus on giving them lifelink and trample and you will regenerate any life lost to early game damage. Nyx-Fleece Ram is an amazing defense vs. aggros.

Bounce: Hand return and exile blinking destroys enchantments. Much like creature removal, your best way to play is to either buff up a hexproof creature like Fleecemane, or to evenly spread enchantments across different creatures on your board.

Mulligans:

You want to try to mulligan out hands that have high cost tech that you don't need until later. You want to hold onto Rams, your Lion, and Sunbond/ Unflinching. If you have 2 forest and a courser in hand, it's okay to keep it. If you don't have two forest, it is not worth keeping because you might not draw a forest for a while. Never mulligan a bow of Nylea if absolutely possible. it is a very valuable card that moves our strategy forward quickly.
