I thought long and hard about how to build this as a competitive Modern deck, knowing that Kird Ape, Loam Lion, and Wild Nacatl are the staples of Zoo, and everything else should be cost effective with either buffs or some sort of utility built in, as well as fit into a progressive mana curve. After the fact, I looked up to see if anybody else had any competitive Modern Zoo builds to compare mine to, and lo and behold, I could have just net decked this! I guess I should take that as a compliment.. /-: Instead I find it rather annoying that my first successful competitive deck is almost identical to others of the archetype.
