Deck Description

Frank Lepore's version of R/W control. I'd like to optimize it. Any ideas?

My main list of potential ideas are:

-2 Tec Edge, +2 color lands.
-2 Sphere of Suns, +2 Everflowing Chalice

Although I love the: Gideon +2 to make them attack, then drop a sunblast angel, it's just very situational.
-2 Sunblast Angel, +2 Inferno Titan ( Possibly Wurmcoil Engine or Shivan Hellkite)

Deck discussion for Boros Control

Mana color is an issue, thus the reasoning behind the Spheres, but maybe I should just replace Tectonic Edge with color mana so I can drop some spheres for Everflowing Chalice.

Next, I like the Sunblast Angel/Gideon/Tumble Magnet combos that are apparent.. but I'm really thinking that Inferno Titan is just better. What if I don't have Gideon or a Magnet on-line. The fire giant is just better in general because he doesn't require anything to be tapped to be useful.

Thoughts?

You need the tectonics for valakut. I would drop one sphere for one stoneforge to increase chances of blade combo early draw. Gideon > Inferno because he dodges more removal and has 3 abilities instead of 1. Besides that I think it's pretty good as is. Frank Lepore has a regular column for a reason.
