This is a Red/Blue level up deck using training grounds and level up creatures as well as a lot of burn and counterspell cards thanks to imprinting them on Isochron Scepters, duplicate them with either Izzet Guildmage or Echo Mage. Splinter Twin the Venerated Teachers =) Add in Jace and Chandra and you have a great Level up/Burn/Counter/Control Deck. Rings of Brighthearth are used to copy Planeswalker abilities, creature abilities and even the Isochron Scepter or Splinter Twin abilities.

I was thinking probably something similar, splinter twin and venerated teacher do make a great combo! See if you can get four Kargan Dragonlords and two lighthouse chronologists.
