Discard & Control This deck is a lot similar to http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=360548 by RogueArsenal Slight modification was made after I have tested his deck against a fast finishing standard BlackRed Vampire and standard WhiteGreen HumanWolf deck(before M13 edition). Type of play: Ravenous Rats,spells and sorceries are to frequently discard opponent's hands until the right time to attack comes. 1.Archaemancor and Augur of Bolas are to keep drawing instant and sorceries from grave and library so that the following spells can be repeatedly used: Mind Rot Unsommon (can also be used for ravenous rats) Disentomb (Can also be used for ravenous rats or to return augur and archaemancor from grave) Murder (destroy creature or ravenous rats) Switcheroo (used in mid game/5 mana cost to swap and gain control of overpowering creatures) 2.Fog walls are to hold opponent's attacking creatures 3.Courtly provocateurs are to force opponent's creatures to attack and stuffy dolls are used to block to inflict damage to opponent's life. 4.Gilded lotus are to help nicol bolas into play. ***SIDEBOARD*** To switch to a slightly faster attacking play, Jace's phantasm and mind sculpt can be used to make sure opponent has more than 10 cards in grave asap so that jaces can attack with 5/5. Bloodhunter bat together with disentomb will inflict repeated damage to opponent when it goes in and out of play. Vampire nighthawk with its lifelink will come in handy and provide that extra time for Nicol to come into play. Please advice on how to improve, constructive comments are appreciated.

Exactly the kind of deck I tryed so many time to make, But every time I get over 80 cards because I find more and more cards that make greats combos. Example: -Add Liliana's Caress to make a second utility to Ravenous rats. -Add Charmbreaker Devils to make another additions to instants and Sorcery -Add Slumbering Dragon Only 1 red to cast and Courtly Provocateur make it grow faster. -Add Talrand, Sky Summoner Another utilily to instants and sorcery you cast. But its hard to break trought those cards, you know what I mean? Dont give up, I like how your deck is well explained.
i made this deck with a few tweaks and used it at fnm its hard to get bolas out so i added 3 more and it helped a lot i replaced one courtly provacator , one ravenous rats, and one mind rot. i do like the deck a lot and the vampire nighthawks are nice because everyone i play used beat down and burn.
i will be adding a few decks that i use if you would like to throw in some tips or cards that would be better i would be rather thankful. btw i have only been playing for round about a month.
and i replaced the drowned catacombs with gem of becoming its easier to get a hold of.
