Deck Description

I built this deck for FNM and it destroys, I won on turn four multiple times and placed high - only reason I even lost matches was because my opponents got insanely lucky (like the Esper control I was facing topdecking a Warleader's Helix to kill my Sire of Insanity that was wrecking his game). This deck is very aggro and I love it, tell me what you think.

How to Play

This deck is all about dropping creatures and swinging for as much damage as possible, very rarely do you ever want to keep a blocker back. Madcap Skills is surprisingly useful pushing through at least 5 damage turn two that's almost always unblockable due to the multi-block requirement it has (this even helps late game, as often as not, and its just plain mean when equipped to an Aristocrat). Just keep swinging, or sac-ing to bloodthrone or Aristocrat if your opponent has creatures and you have blood artists, until they're dead - which won't take long, trust me!

I think the sideboard should consist of a playset of searing spear and some pilar of flame to deal with an early game voice of resurgence. Magmaquake could be decent if you get into a locked board. You would be able to hold your sire of insanity, drop the magmaquake, then drop the sire on the next turn or same if you have it. Hellriders are also pretty solid as is stromkirk noble.

Another thing you can do is use civic saber on rakdos cackler. Think about it. You would be attacking with a 4/2 creature turn two if you dont get your spike jester. THEN if you do get the spike jester. you drop him turn three and equip the c ivic saber to him and he is a 5/1 with haste...not bad.

Hmm, Civic Saber would be interesting. I initially passed over it because I considered it too slow but that was before I found the usefulness of madcap skills. The advantage of madcap is that it gives greater power and the multi-blocker effect, while the advantage of the Saber is that it can be used multiple times via re-equipping. I'd have to do some serious testing to figure out which is more valuable at the end, but I'm not sure I want to take out any more creatures to run them both.

As for the sideboard, I just returned to magic so my old, enormous card base is gone so I'm working with what I have. However I'd like to run three or four Skullcrack's against control and Thragtusk so they can't get their life back. Right now I have Killing Wave, which I used before because its really effective with blood artists out as it kind of creates a lose-lose scenario for your opponent when they either lose huge life to keep their creatures, or lose life when they sac them anyway. I have two Hellrider's in there already, as well as two Dreadbore's and two Zealous Conscripts which are incredibly useful, and finally a few Mutilate's as a reliable boardwipe. I think I'll post my sideboard now just to have it up
