The first deck I ever built back in 1995, and it is still around today! Well...sort of. My red direct damage deck (like many other) once revolved around lightning bolt, fireball, and ball lightning only. This deck has now evolved to make room for a second color, and, with the release of New Phyrexia, a cool combo in Varchild's War Riders and Suture Priest.

Very nice combo, though it's not much of sligh in the curve...Still, it's very good, I like it. :)

Yes...it hardly qualifies as a sligh deck anymore...I think I just have to call it that for sentimental reasons. It's even in the same crappy box that the original deck was in 16 years ago, lol.
