Pretty cool, but it looks REALLY REALLY slow. Why not add some counterspells?

Well this deck used to be like 80 cards with counters and everything but now just have to hope u hit the mirari' s wake at 5th mana until that it's wall of denials and terminates. With reborn hope u can rotate the spells u want to get life or destroy enemy defences, and all x2 to max the damage.
I see your point, but you basically do nothing to protect yourself turns 1-4. What if you were to trade some of your higher costing cards for cheap counterspells or anti creature cards? Basically I see this deck running similarly to http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=167943
No, just walls and some low cost sorceries and instants.
