Obviously not my idea. I'd lost to several similar decks on Arena and decided I wanted to take a swing at it. Liked it enough where I decided to rummage through my stuff and make my own version. I just found the concept reminiscent of both the written, animated and live action Tolkien scene where the Eagles arrive. And I thought that would be fun to play out as a deck!
Obviously this an Aggro style deck, using Azorius colors. It is meant for casual play, so I am not concerned about a specific format beyond just enjoying it with our extended play group. It's vulnerable to removal pretty seriously, and the late game can be less than sophisticated so your goal is to amass as many flyers, pump them up and jump your opponents! A little flash and lifegain to help with your tempo, a little card advantage to go snag something fun.
