Even if your opponent kills your creature(actually theirs) the deck has more than enough removal to bring it back under your control. And now, a prologue... Liliana knew the very moment her eyes met with the cold, admiring glare of Sorin. A deep evil exists beneath the calm, dashing exterior of the ancient vampire that she must control. A power she could not yet weald. With only the desire to control such power she opens her lips to set the seed of a diabolic partnership. The endless whisper of shadows smother her nameless thoughts as her leeching words pierce Sorin's mind. One last gasp of air terminates the conversation so briefly it creates a tension in Sorin's face to the absence of her voice. Sorin, scepter in hand, beseeches her trust in partnership. Liliana's darkly smile alludes to her victory, one step closer to power unimaginable.
